Romans 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” The world will NEVER be a friend of God and if you follow Him, through Jesus Christ, the world will also be at enmity (opposed or hostile) with you. People will try and tear you down every chance they get. Stop trying to please everyone… instead please God.

Here’s a revelation for you from the Word. Luke 6:26, “Woe to you when all men speak well of you…” Wear it as a badge of honor! Knowing this, guard your thoughts and ignore those who put you down for loving Jesus Christ. We can all learn from ducks when the rain deflects and trickles right off their feathers. Flick those negative thoughts away. Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.“
